Research initiative

With the University of Ottawa Heart Institute's research staff, OHSNI is pursuing research funding to determine the incidence of smoking among pregnant women in the Baffin Region of Nunavut, in an attempt to appropriately implement a smoking cessation program.  Pauktuutit and the Government of Nunavut – Department of Health and Social Services have expressed an interest in exploring this research in conjunction with us.
