About Us

Ottawa Health Services Network Inc. (OHSNI) respects the Inuit's vision for wellness -  physically and mentally healthy, independent individuals and families who have taken ownership of personal and community health, and Inuit-specific processes, developed and driven by Inuit, with adequate financial, information and infrastructure support to implement the strategies developed and put into action.

Today, the Inuit have a vision that focuses on healthy individuals, families, and communities. This includes funding strategies that are developed and managed by Nunavummiut to fit their specific needs. With this vision as a touchstone for our actions, Ottawa Health Services Network Inc. has provided case management and delivered specialty health care services to the Inuit for over a decade. We are devoted to to providing prompt and appropriate health care for the individuals under our mandate, paying special attention to our patients' culture, needs, wishes and beliefs.
